A federal appeals court in California has ruled that the state cannot constitutionally ban marriage equality.

Of course, supporters of Prop 8 will likely appeal this decision to a higher court, potentially the U.S. Supreme Court, where the high court is likely to be divided. 

Either way, this is absolutely a victory.
